- Will I keep my songs and library?
- Always. Songbook Buddy is offline-first; your library stays on your device. Upgrades unlock capabilities — they do not take away what you already have.
- How do Starter and Basic differ?
- Starter is for trying, learning, and evaluating — full ChordPro editor, transpose, diagrams, ChordPro/text import, and free .sbbl setlist import (view/delete) with a 100-song local library. Basic is when the collection is uniquely yours: unlimited songs, create/edit personal setlists, all import formats, print, tags, Find chord / Related Chords, practice tools, and sync on up to 2 devices.
- When do I need Cloud?
- When a group shares libraries, roles, live sessions, and real-time sync — clubs, worship teams, bands, and schools. Band Mode stays end-to-end encrypted per group, with unlimited bands and members and up to 100 synced devices.
- How do I buy Basic, Pro, or Cloud?
- Download Starter free from this site, then purchase Basic, Pro, or Pro Cloud inside the app. Website downloads use in-app PayPal (one-time purchases, no auto-renew). App Store and Google Play builds use store billing only — the same plan names, different payment path. There is no checkout on this website.
